There are currently 49 dolphin and porpoise species. Sadly, many of these are endangered, such as the vaquita porpoise, the Yangtze finless porpoise and the Atlantic humpbacked dolphin.

These friendly creatures are often entangled in fishing nets, where they drown because they cannot come up for air.
