Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio is an American actor and film producer. In 2019, his films have earned $7.2 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest paid actors in the world. He began his career in the 1980s, appearing in TV commercials. And, as you well know, success never comes overnight, but only with hard work and perseverance, DiCaprio gained fame after starring in two movies, namely, Catch Me If You Can (2002) and Gangs of New York (2002) (after a few critically lauded but commercially unsuccessful ones).
DiCaprio’s accolades include an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and a Golden Globe Award for The Revenant as well as two other Golden Globes for The Aviator and The Wolf of Wall Street. He’s also the founder of Appian Way Productions and the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation (a non-profit organization that promotes environmental awareness). In 2016, Time magazine named DiCaprio one of the most influential people in the world.
Leonardo attended Seeds Elementary School, and then went to John Marshall High School. He publicly said that he hated public school and asked her mother to support him at auditions instead because he wanted to improve their financial situation. After this period, he dropped out of high school, and eventually earned his GED.
