Much as we love them, printed books may not be the most eco-friendly thing. But everything else about the Beitou Public Library in Taipei, Taiwan, is ultra-green. The two-story wooden building has a slanted roof that almost makes the library look like it’s winking at you. There are balconies along the sides, complete with rocking chairs where you can curl up with your favorite novel.
