Kristen Bell is an American actress, singer and producer who started her acting career after starring in stage productions while attending the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Her role in the drama TV series Veronica Mars (2004–2007) earned her a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. She also starred in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Couples Retreat (2009), When in Rome (2010), You Again (2010), The Boss (2016), Bad Moms (2016), voicing Anna in Frozen (2013), to name a few.

Her role in the fantasy comedy television series The Good Place (2016 – 2020) earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy.

However, she has said publicly that she has been dealing with depression since she was in college. “There’s nothing weak about struggling with mental illness,” Bell added.
