Mackenzie Scott (formerly Bezos) is an American novelist and philanthropist. As of 30 December 2020, Mackenzie has a net worth of $59.8 billion, making her one of the richest women in the world. She became one of the wealthiest women in the world after finalizing her divorce with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in 2019. So, she received a quarter of Jeff’s shares.

The novelist claimed that she started to write at the age of 6. In 1992, she earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Princeton University – where she studied under the Nobel Laureate in Literature Toni Morrison who said that she was “one of the best students I’ve ever had in my creative writing classes.”
