If you notice that your partner is excessively polite and nice (or even distant) can be a sign of cheating. Some of them will try to act nicely in front of you so that you don’t realize that they are cheating on you.

So, don’t believe everything you hear from them, but try to better analyze their behavior as well. You will know if they feel guilty or are just in love with you again and want to prove it by sending flowers, nice messages, compliments and so on.
