Mason jars

Today, we see everywhere mason jars, but they have actually been famous since the 1800s. 

John Landis Mason was a specialist in food preservation and he invented these multipurpose jars in 1858. The Ball Corporation licensed the jars of Mason in 1884 and they continue to create them even today.
