During the winter, the temperature starts to drop and nothing could make us feel good, apart from the fact that several hundred years ago things were definitely worse than they are today.

Here are some American states where the temperature has reached maximum levels of cold.

The coldest temperature was detected on 30 January 1966 in Madison County, Alabama.

On 23 January 1971 was recorded the coldest temperature ever in Prospect Creek, Alaska.
