Los Angeles is still as iconic today as it was in the 1960s – and you can’t deny that. From a girl who poses on the opening day of the Dodger Stadium to a nice family photo, these cool photos will show you the City of Angels and how things used to be in those days.

The beach was a great spot, attracting thousands daily as well as tourists.

As a fun fact, from the 1910s to the 1960s, many college students used parcel post to mail home dirty laundry because it was less expensive than washing the clothes themselves.

Los Angeles was still using electric public transportation – and let’s be honest, those old style trolleys look pretty cool.

This photo of Dino’s Lodge on Sunset Strip looks awesome. 

Imagine what has to happen to destroy such a heavy vehicle like this. Compared to many modern cars, the US cars of the 1950s and 1960s were tanks with no crumpling, and were far less safe in major accidents.
