A youth moves quickly to collect grains of corn which fell from a truck that was looted outside the port in Puerto Cabello. At the country’s biggest port, people swarmed a corn-carrying truck and began filling up sacks with the grain while the driver was held at gunpoint.

Hull, England

Perspex now covers an artwork by Banksy on a disused drawbridge after it was defaced. Banksy appeared to confirm the new painting on Scott Street Bridge was his own, after posting images of it on social media. The graffiti art was saved by a local window cleaner who cleaned paint off the stencilled design. The mural depicts a child carrying a wooden sword with a pencil attached to the end, under the text ‘draw the raised bridge!’.

DACA recipient Javier Kistte poses for a portrait outside his home. Kistte is a UC Irvine graduate now working for a visual effects company. He came to the US from Mexico when he was eight years old. Kistte said that DACA permitted him and his brother to finish their degrees by allowing them to work to pay for tuition.
