iPhone Photography Awards 2017 Winners

Joseph Cyr from Tucson, Arizona, won third place for sunset.

Juan Carlos Castañeda of New York City won top place in the America I Know category with a wintery shot of Standing Rock.

Sebastiano Tomada of New York City took the grand prize and was photographer of the year for a shot of children in Qayyarah, Iraq, near fire and smoke billowing from oil wells set ablaze by Islamic State militants.

Third place in the children category went to Barry Mayes of the United Kingdom.

Smetanina Julia from Moscow won second place in the flowers section.

The lifestyle category was won by Nick Trombola of Wexford, Pennsylvania.

Samuel Nacar of Albacete, Spain, took first place in the news/events section, with a shot of the eviction of the biggest migrant camp in Europe, in northern France.

Joshua Sarinana from Cambridge, Massachusetts placed second in travel.

Li Jinquan from Beijing came third in travel.

Magali Chesnel Ferney-Voltaire from France was the winner for trees.
