A vehicle has struck pedestrians as worshippers left a mosque in Finsbury Park, north London. Here are some early photographs from the scene.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has since described the incident as a potential terror attack – only that this time, the Muslim community was the target.

The attack happened extremely close to a Muslim mosque which is known for its large number of worshippers. This has led to even more conflict on the streets.

Injured people are seeking help shortly after the attack. The driver of the van was arrested and charged with murder; apparently, he was working alone.
