Then four rockets landed.” It would be two months before Areej regained consciousness and learnt that two of her daughters had been killed that day, her son Muhammad had lost his leg and one of her other daughters, Bathoul, an eye. Now the family lives in one room of a house in Jordan. Her husband Ibrahim, a long distance lorry driver, wants to return to work so he can support the family.’
