US Firefighter Brings Dog To Life After 20 Mins Of Mouth-To-Mouth

Meet Andrew Klein. This happy man is a first responder at the Santa Monica Fire Department of California. Aside from the kind look in his eyes, this man also has a heart of gold. Why? Because he did something very few people would be willing to do. Keep reading..

One day, local Crystal Lamirande was coming home from work just to find out her apartment caught on fire. Inside, there was her beloved white puppy, struggling to survive.

Right when the firefighters (Klein included) came at the scene, photographer Billy Fernando happened to cross by. He decided to stay there and take photos of the rescue operation.

I didn’t know what it was at first, but then I realized that it was a pet who had been trapped in the fire. The dog was unconscious, limp and not moving at all.”

When Klein realized that the puppy wasn’t breathing, he instantly started doing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation – no, not a single second of hesitation. As our photographer says, “It was an awe-inspiring moment.”

After spending 24 hours in an oxygen chamber and some extra treatment from the vet, the puppy was fine and healthy again. This is what being a real hero means!
