When we think about men hiding things from their wives, it’s usually a bad thing that could ruin their relationship. Well, this is not your usual marriage story.

Jimmy here is an 85-year-old happy grandparent living a wonderful life with his wife. The two are still in love and get along very well – but there’s a catch!

There are no restrictions when it comes to this man’s life except for one. His wife told him loud and clear that she did not want to raise many kittens.

Weird as it may sound, that was her request and Jimmy had to obey.

But we all know how men are sometimes and this sneaky grandpa makes no exception! One day, Jimmy found a stray cat and just couldn’t resist adopting it.

His granddaughter, Syl, explains that “My grandpa felt for the stray cats and would leave food in the back of the house near his tool shed, a spot where my grandma doesn’t go.”

But things got a bit more complicated when Jimmy’s favourite cat gave birth to other 3 kittens. He knew how dangerous his situation was – because of his wife still not knowing – but he went for it anyway. He helped the kittens.

Ultimately, Jimmy’s wife found out about his whole masterplan of raising kittens. As soon as she saw them, though, she agreed to letting them into their big family; a real happy ever after!
