Banksy is by far one of the most mysterious artists of our generation. Over the years, the mindblowing artoworks of this street art magician fascinated the world and definitely got the attention of important people as well. Each of his works sends a certain message about the present world – whether it’s poverty, politics or love, you can spot in less than a second that it’s Banksy.

This year, the street artist got all eyes on him by opening a hotel where guests can sit back and enjoy his artworks all over the place. But this is far from what you’d expect a comfy hotel to be.

Located right in Bethlehem, West Bank, the building was designed inches away from the West Bank wall that separates Israel from the Palestinian territories.

But hey, let’s look at the bright side! The ‘Walled Off Hotel’ actually got a rating of 3 stars, which means that it’s not all that bad. People have been able to book rooms here since the official opening, on March 11th. But there’s more to it than the eye meets.

The hotel is in fact a satirical reproduction of the luxurious Waldorf Hotel in New York City. Its best advertising quote? ‘The world’s worst view.’
